Founded in 2011 by our Chief Architect, Edmund Kok, Trace has been one of the leading builders for landed residences in Singapore

We partner with clients across personal to redevelopment projects, with 60+ projects using a design & build methodology. We believe what differentiates us to be our team. From professional architects, quantity surveyors, to construction managers, our in-house team has 80+ years of collective building experience

We believe in a common philosophy: That building a home is one of the most significant personal projects for any individual or family. As such, we do what we can to make that experience a positive one, and to help clients best achieve the home of their dreams

Edmund Kok

Edmund started his career in 1982 as an architect in PWD, where he helmed major institutional projects such as AMK Community Hospital and the Kallang MRT Laboratory which won a Design Merit Award from SIA. He then became a development consultant in TG Developments, spearheading land acquisition and redevelopment of numerous projects, including Sentosa Cove, One Chiltern, and Skypark@ St.Thomas Walk

After acquiring 35+ years of experience, Edmund established Trace Design + Build, which has amassed a substantial portfolio for high-end landed houses. Edmund believes that the trifecta of design, cost, and time should be catered from the inception of any project

Design should not be thought about in a silo, but conceived within the practical constraints of the land, clients and builders

Meet the team

Nathaniel Kok

Nathaniel heads Business Development & Partnerships at Trace, helping clients seeking to build their homes or redevelop coveted estates in Singapore. He also leads the firm's efforts in digitization and future-proofing the organization

Nate cut his teeth across several top-tier institutions, including GIC, BCG and Binance. The bulk of his early years was in BCG, serving private equity clients in due diligences. Nate believes that building the right collective of talent is the best way to producing extraordinary work

Our in-house construction team are experienced hands in the residential space. From project managers to site foremen, everyone has had practical, hands-on experience in building a house. This ensures that any technical issues are spotted promptly and resolved with our architects
