Concept

Ernani Street was commissioned as an inter-terrace redevelopment. We fulfilled the brief via a 2-storey contemporary home, complemented with an Attic storey. The interiors emphasize clean, wood finishings, coherent with a modern scandinavian aesthetic

Approach

The house was designed with a contemporary aesthetic, and features high ceilings to capitalize on the zoning requirements to build a maximum of 2 storeys. Its modern scandinavian interiors features a 'floating' staircase made of cantilever steps as a key element

Functionality

This house offers a generous space meant for gatherings, especially on the ground floor, in the form of the dining and living areas. One notable highlight is the large family room at the attic, which is linked to an open-to-sky roof terrace
