Concept
Hythe Road was conceptualized to embrace the natural passage of air and light throughout the house. A Modern Balinese style was used in our approach, featuring timber cladded ceilings and warm brown tones. This gives the house a distinctive Asian appeal while modernizing the property
Approach
Wood continues as the central theme of this design, with a platform framing the entrance of the house. Along the perimeter, a pebble pathway transitions into the garden landscaping, further building out the tropical aesthetic. A seamless boundary is incorporated in the outdoors, where large glass doors open into a timber deck
Functionality
Complementing the fluid space on the ground floor, we designed for private spaces in the second level, with a junior master bedroom and an open walk-in wardrobe. At the Attic level, the house features an extensive master bedroom. A key feature of the master bedroom includes a free-standing bathtub with a skylight in the bathroom
