Lorong Kembangan - TRACE | Design & Build

Concept

Lorong Kembangan's modern multi-layered facade stands out in an estate with consistently traditional clay-tiled houses. The interplay of horizontal and vertical slats act as privacy screens, while creating a unique aesthetic identity

Approach

Darker tones were predominantly used, especially in the interiors of the home. This is counterbalanced with natural light brought in through the double-volume spaces and generous windows with shading. This lends the house an inviting ambience after entering the property

Functionality

The house features a family area on the 2nd level to encourage family bonding. At the 3rd level, twin layouts were built with individual walk-in closets in the junior and master bedrooms, as per the homeowner's requirements

We started our home building journey with TRACE and it has been very pleasant to work with them. Not only are Edmund and his team very professional, they are also very helpful when it comes to follow up. As with every home building process, there are bound to be some follow ups, and things that did not go as originally planned. TRACE has always been very prompt in responding and providing necessary support. As for the build quality, we have no complaints. Every one of our friends that come in our home has been truly impressed with the build quality. Thank you TRACE.
