Mayflower Terrace - TRACE | Design & Build

Concept

Mayflower Terrace remains as a distinct property in the Ang Mo Kio estate. Influenced by a modern Victorian style, we used a combination of arched windows and stone-cladded walls. The greenery on the balcony serves to provide a sense of integration with its surroundings

Approach

While the exterior employs a darker-toned palette, the house transitions to a more modern and brighter interior. The homeowner's character can still be seen through the unique intricate details in their loose furniture and finishings

Functionality

To accomodate the homeowner's collection of cars, a larger area was catered for the car porch. The living and dining areas were situated on the second level, using verying tones of lighting to separate the spaces. A sky light shines down through the attic, serving as another feature in the house
