Concept

Yuk Tong Avenue was designed to provide privacy within a relatively active estate, while affording luxurious open spaces for the homeowner. We used a bauhaus inspired approach for this house, juxtaposing solid structures against glass elements to balance privacy and openness

Approach

The architecture of the house emphasizes a contemporary aesthetic, with clean lines, angular forms and minimalistic finishing. This is complemented by the house's interior décor, which follows a Scandinavian style. A blend of textures and a softer palette is used to create a warm, inviting atmosphere

Functionality

The 3-storey house features an exaggerated basement that embraces its undulating terrain for a private entertainment space, including an external deck and swimming pool. The house comfortably houses six bedrooms and generous functional spaces for a multi-generational family to live in
