Concept
Novena Terrace was commissioned as an A&A project to transform a delibitated terrace with minimal light and low ceilings. We reconceptualized the house with Modern architecture influenced by styles from Australia. A modern bay window sits as the main feature of the house, alongside surrounding light strips to bring in natural light and air into the home
Approach
Our design started with a white colour palette as a canvas for us to play off the unique forms and accents in the facade. Light enters the terrace house generously with various window features built into the property. This creates a comfortable ambience in the internal space, embracing natural light and air. The bay window sits as the central feature, with the carporch design as another noteworthy element
Functionality
This house is split into two levels with high ceilings that maximize the internal space, with each fulfilling different aspects of the homeowner's needs. On the ground floor, there is a seamless transition between the living and dining areas. Private spaces were designed for the family on the upper floor, with 4 bedrooms
